Prof. Dr. Osman Adiguzel, Firat University, Elazig, Turkey

Biography: Dr. Osman Adiguzel graduated from Department of Physics, Ankara University, Turkey in 1974 and received PhD- degree from Dicle University, Diyarbakir-Turkey. He studied at Surrey University, Guildford, UK, as a post doctoral research scientist in 1986-1987, and his studies focused on shape memory alloys. He worked as research assistant, 1975-80, at Dicle University and shifted to Firat University in 1980. He became professor in 1996, and he has been retired due to the age limit of 67, following academic life of 45 years.

He published over 80 papers in international and national journals; He joined over 120 conferences and symposia in international and national level as Plenary Speaker, Keynote Speaker, Invited speaker, speaker or Poster presenter. He served the program chair or conference chair/co-chair in some of these activities. In particular, he joined in last six years (2014 - 2019) over 60 conferences as Speaker, Keynote Speaker and Conference Co-Chair organized by different companies in different countries.

Additionally, he retired at the end of November 2019, and contributed with Keynote/Plenary Speeches over 180 Virtual/Webinar Conferences, in the coronavirus outbreak in four year of his retirement, 2020 and 2023.

Dr. Adiguzel served his directorate of Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences, Firat University in 1999-2004. He supervised 5 PhD- theses and 3 M. Sc theses. He is also technical committee member of many conferences. He received a certificate which is being awarded to him and his experimental group in recognition of   significant contribution of 2 patterns to the Powder Diffraction File – Release 2000. The ICDD (International Centre for Diffraction Data) also appreciates cooperation of his group and interest in Powder Diffraction File.

Scientific fields of Dr. Adiguzel:  Shape memory effect and displacive phase transformations in shape memory alloys and other alloys, molecular dynamics simulations, alloy modeling, electron microscopy, electron diffraction, x-ray diffraction and crystallography.

Prof. Yufei Ma, Harbin Institute of Technology, China
Short Biography: Yufei Ma received his PhD degree in physical electronics from Harbin Institute of Technology, China, in 2013. From September 2010 to September 2011, he spent as a visiting scholar at Rice University, USA. Currently, he is a professor at Harbin Institute of Technology, China. He is the winner of National Outstanding Youth Science Fund. His research interests include optical sensors, trace gas detection, laser spectroscopy, solid-state laser and optoelectronics. He has published more than 100 publications and given more than 20 invited presentations at international conferences. He serves as associate editor for Optica Optics Express, SPIE Optical Engineering, Wiley Microwave and Optical Technology Letters and Frontiers in Physics. He also serves as topical editor for CLP Chinese Optics Letters and editorial board member for Elsevier Photoacoustics MDPI Sensors and Applied Sciences.

Prof.Alam Md. Mahbub, Harbin Institute of Technology (Shenzhen), China

Short Biography: Alam Md. Mahbub is a professor at Harbin Institute of Technology (China) since 2012. He worked as a senior lecturer at the University of Pretoria (South Africa), research and postdoctoral fellows at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and lecturer at the Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (Bangladesh). More than 400 technical articles are authored and co-authored, including 200+ SCI journal papers. Most of the papers have been published in top-notched journals, including Journal of Fluid Mechanics, Journal of Fluids & Structures, Ocean Engineering, Physics of Fluids, and Journal of Sustainable and Energy Reviews. His papers are well-cited, 10,000+ (h-index 54) in the Google Scholar database. He has been listed as a highly cited researcher for 2018 - 2023 (single year) by Web of Science, ranked top 2%. His research has mostly involved flow-induced vibrations, bluff-body wake, fluid-structure interactions, hydrodynamics of swimming animals, and energy harvesting from wind and ocean current. He has chaired and co-chaired eight international conferences, five symposiums, and 22 sessions in international conferences. He has delivered 35+ keynote speeches at international conferences.  Prof Alam has received a number of awards: Japan Government Scholarship (monbusho) for Masters and PhD studies; JSPS (Japan Society for Promotion of Science) Postdoctoral fellowship; South Africa National Research Foundation (NRF) rating ‘Promising Young Researcher, Y1’; China 1000-young-talent scholar; Shenzhen High-Level Overseas Talent; and 2015 Shenzhen Outstanding Teacher. He is editorial board members of ‘Wind and Structures, an International Journal’ and Fluid Dynamics and Material processing.
