This two-days ICPEM is a yearly event for a world-class gathering of researchers from academia and industry, practitioners, and business leaders. She provides an exchange platform for international scientists, scholars, engineers and students, who involves in the development of physics and engineering mathematics, so as to present their newest ongoing research activities , discuss the cutting edge research, share the directions for new innovative business and core technology , and meet others in related engineering field.
This conference includes a highly selective technical program consisting of submitted papers, a small set of invited papers on important and timely topics from well-known leaders in the field, and poster session of research in progress. Focused keynote speeches and panel discussions will be held on emerging topics to allow for a lively exchange your ideas. All published papers wiil be indexed in Ei Compendex,Scopus and other databases after the conference .
ICPEM 2020 is organized by Hubei Zhongke Geological and Environmental Technology Service Center , China. Technically assisted by Portland State University, UCLA, Paris Institute of Mechanics,University of Victoria, Ufa State Oil Technical University,Sun Yat-sen University, Jiangsu University and other well-known academic institutions at home and abroad.

Currently directing the Laboratory of Mechanics of AUT and coordinating an EU-TMR Network on “Spatio-Temporal Instabilities in Deformation and Fracture” involving seven European laboratories through Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He has published more than 300 papers in the areas of mechanics and materials. Several of these publications helped to identify and establish research areas such as double porosity/diffusivity theory, dislocation patterning, strain gradient theory, material instabilities, and nanomechanics. He has edited five books, organized numerous international symposia and conferences, and been invited to present his research on more than 200 occasions. He is co-editor of the Journal of Mechanical Behavior of Materials, serves on the Advisory Board of the International Journal for Numerical and Analytical Methods in Geomechanics,and has served on the Advisory Board of the Journal of Mechanics of Cohesive-Frictional Materialsand Acta Mechanica. His research and academic activities have been supported by NSF/ARMY/AFOSR/ of US, as well as by the Commission of European Communities of EU.
Dr. E. Suhir is Distinguished Member of Technical Staff (ret), Physical Sciences and Engineering Research Division, Bell Labs, Murray Hill, NJ, USA. He is currently on the faculty of the Materials and Mechanical Engineering Dept., Portland State University, Portland, OR, USA, and is, on a permanent basis, Visiting Professor, Vienna Institute of Technology, Vienna, Austria. Dr. Suhir is Life Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), and Fellow of the American Physical Society (APS); the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME); the Institute of Physics (IoP), UK; the Society of Optical Engineers (SPIE), the International Microelectronics Packaging Society (IMAPS) and the Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE). Editorial Board Member over 35 International Journal. Dr. Suhir holds 22 US patents and has authored above 300 technical publications (papers, book chapters, books). He presented numerous keynote and invited talks worldwide, and received many professional awards. His current professional interests include a high variety of problems in Physical Mathematics (Applied and Engineering Mechanics, Elasticity Theory, Thermal Stress Analyses, Applied Probability, Shock and Vibrations Analyses, Predictive Modeling in Human-in-the-Loop Problems).

Prof. Dr. Vesna Zeljkovic's expertise encompasses signal and image processing, developing mathematical models and novel algorithms for the analysis of 2D images that have applications in biomedical engineering and medicine, video surveillance, analysis of complex optical spectra, public health, industrial application, homeland security and national defense. She has published more than 100 scientific papers, a book chapter, she authored two books titled “Video Surveillance Techniques and Technologies,” IGI Global Hershey PA, USA, and “Illumination Independent Moving Object Detection in Image Sequences,” LAP Lambert Academic Publishing GmbH & Co. KG, and also co-authored two books published in biomedical engineering field. Dr. Zeljkovic serves as a reviewer for peer reviewed journals and conference proceedings. During her initial residence in US she participated in funded research and also did teaching including mentoring and supervision of minority PhD students. She is IEEE senior member and continues to participate and organize different activities at professional meetings of IEEE and other organizations. She is General management member of Global Medical Engineering Physics Exchanges (GMEPE) and Pan American Health Care Exchanges Conference PAHCE, IEEE conference and also GMEPE/PAHCE Review Board Coordinator, and she served as Associate Editor of the IEEE International Conference on High Performance Computing & Simulation HPCS for several years. During many of these conferences she gave numerous presentations, served as session chair and also conducted specialized workshops.
